Rádi bychom Vás předběžně upozornili na výzvu ESA zaměřenou na návrhy výzkumných témat pro pobyt plánovaného českého astronauta na Mezinárodní kosmické stanici.

Výzva bude mít uzávěrku 11. 11. 2024 a aktuálně čekáme na upřesnění ze strany RUK, jak bude v rámci UK podávána.

Protože se ale čas na případnou přípravu se krátí, rádi bychom Vám dali alespoň možnost se na výzvu podívat, abyste případně věděli, o co se jedná.

Podrobnosti Vám zašleme po jejich upřesnění ze strany RUK.

Pokud o výzvu budete mít bližší zájem, dejte nám vědět, prosím.

Dear colleagues,

We would like to preliminarily draw your attention to the ESA call for proposals for research topics for the planned stay of a Czech astronaut on the International Space Station.

The call will close on 11/11/2024 and we are currently waiting for clarification from the Rectorate as to how it will be submitted within Charles University.

However, since the time for possible preparation is running out, we would like to at least give you the opportunity to look at the call announcement so that you can possibly learn what it is about.

We will send you the application details after they have been clarified by the Rectorate.

The European Space Agency (the "Agency" or "ESA") and the Czech Ministry of Transport hereby invite you to submit a proposal in theframe of the Fixed Call for Proposals for Czech ISS Experiments under the Framework Project implementing ESA's support of space-related activities in the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as "Czech Third-Party Framework Project").The Call for Proposals is addressed only to Czech companies (including SMEs) or academic and research organisations in the Czech Republic. This CfP is part of the Czech Third-Party Framework Project. In the frame of the CfP, a maximum total budget of EUR 4,000,000 (four million Euro) was allocated for funding of the activities to be proposed with a possible additional budget of EUR 6,000,000 (six million Euro), which is dependant of additional funding to be provided by the time of projects selection. It shall be noted that not more than 10 projects will be awarded, irrespective of the final budget being available. Potential Tenderers are therefore requested to note that the Agency can only consider Proposals from companies or organizations residing in the Czech Republic, which operate in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. However, consortia including companies and organizations within other ESA Member States, Associate Members and European Cooperating States may be accepted if fully and clearly justified. Co-investigators or co-participants to the proposal do not necessarily need to be based in the Czech Republic but it is expected that most of the work is done in the Czech Republic. All work performed by non-Czech entities, whether subcontract or external service, shall be highlighted and fully described in the proposal.
