Greetings from Regensburg where we are currently enjoying a summerly spring.

Let me share exchange opportunities for your students with you.

I would like to take the chance to highlight that several companies in
Regensburg approached regarding internships for excellent international
computer science students with strong IT skills (preferably Java, C/C++,
embedded systems). Students from partner universities can enrol in our
internship semester and thus have the chance to do a paid internship in
an English work environment in Germany. Prerequisites are that the
internship is also required at your institution, that your students have
at least studied for 4 semesters, that we have a partnership agreement
in place and that the students can convince the companies during
interviews to hire them.

We will also offer at least 25-30 European credit points (=full load)
worth IT modules taught in English in our bachelor programmes, and 30
European credit points (=full load) in our Master of Computer Science
programme. Not all details are finalized yet but you can find an

Please note that the full load taught in English in our Masters
programme makes double degrees for your students possible. If you are
interested in further discussing this, please let me know.

There are so many reasons to come to Regensburg: the city is safe,
bubbly, academic quality is good and cost of living are reasonable. We
do not raise tuition fees from our partners. Additionally, we provide
accommodation and our International Office does a fantastic job to make
all incoming students feel comfortable and welcome.

Our winter term 2018 starts October 1st and ends mid January (lectures)
and mid February (exams).

Nomination due date is: May 1st, 2018

Even if you or your students do not find suitable modules, do not just
give up but contact me. Maybe we can find workarounds through virtual
courses or individual teaching/assessments. The same applies to issues
around conflicting academic calendars: if your students need to return
earlier than Mid February, there are usually ways to navigate around
this. Do not hesitate to contact me in those cases!
