dovolujeme si Vás kontaktovat v souvislosti se záměrem RUKu navázat dlouhodobou spolupráci se třemi institucemi: Lahey Hospital and Medical Center<https://www.lahey.org/> (Burlington, MA, USA), University of Massachusetts Boston<https://www.lahey.org/> (Boston, MA, USA) a Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland<https://www.rcsi.com/dublin/> (Dublin, Irsko). Po sérii přípravných schůzek jsme s americkými a irskými partnery přikročili k síťování na úrovni fakult a kateder, tak abychom do budoucna měli k dispozici dostatečné množství odborníků pro společné projekty.
V první fázi zvažujeme kreditovou mobilitu a program KA2, nicméně dlouhodobějším cílem by mělo být podání společného projektu Erasmus Mundus. Předběžně vytipovanými okruhy témat a silnými stránkami našich partnerů jsou:

  *   Healthcare Technology and Informatics
  *   Biomedical Engineering
  *   Public Health Innovation
  *   Pharmaceutical Sciences
  *   Telemedicine and Remote Healthcare
  *   Health Systems Engineering
  *   Neurology
·         Cancer medicine
Rádi bychom sestavili sít odborníků na české, americké a irské straně, kteří by se chtěli do budoucna podílet na této unikátní vědecko-pedagogické spolupráci zahrnující nejrůznější projektová schémata.

Let me contact you regarding the Rectorate's intention to enter into a long-term cooperation with three institutions: Lahey Hospital and Medical Center<https://www.lahey.org/> (Burlington, MA, USA), University of Massachusetts Boston<https://www.lahey.org/> (Boston, MA, USA) and Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland<https://www.rcsi.com/dublin/> (Dublin, Ireland). See below for the details we received from the Vice-Rector Voldřichová Beránková. After a series of preparatory meetings with the American and Irish partners, we have proceeded to networking at the faculties and departmental level in order to find a sufficient number of experts available for joint projects in the future.
In the first phase we are thinking about Credit Mobility and the KA2 programme (Erasmus+), but in the longer term our goal is to submit a joint Erasmus Mundus project. Pre-selected thematic areas and strengths of our partners are as follows:

We would like to create a network of experts on the Czech, American and Irish sides who are interested in participating in this unique scientific-educational cooperation, that shall include various project schemes.
