[OGAP-l] Physics for Future (P4F) nabídne 30 postdoktorandských pozic / 30 postdoctoral positions offered by Physics for Future (P4F)

Vážení kolegové,

rádi bychom Vás informovali o připravované druhé výzvě k předkládání žádostí o postdoktorandská stipendia programu Physics for Future<https://p4f.fzu.cz/for-candidates/#key-steps> (P4F).

P4F, spolufinancovaný z Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND<https://marie-sklodowska-curie-actions.ec.europa.eu/actions/cofund> a koordinovaný Fyzikálním ústavem Akademie věd ČR<https://www.fzu.cz/en/home> (FZÚ), je program pro postdoktorandy a postdoktorandky, jehož cílem je umožnit výzkumným pracovníkům realizovat vlastní, tzv. bottom-up projekty po dobu dvou let v České republice v rámci FZÚ nebo ELI Beamlines<https://www.eli-beams.eu/>. Program je díky nabízeným kurzům a školením rovněž příležitostí k rozvoji odborných znalostí, přenositelných dovedností a soft skills. MFF UK je jedním z partnerů projektu.

Druhá výzva bude spuštěna 1. srpna 2025 a je v ní nabízeno 30 stáží pro excelentní vědkyně a excelentní vědce, uzávěrka přihlášek je 10. října 2025.
Vědecký rozsah programu P4F zahrnuje tyto oblasti: astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology; atomic, molecular and chemical physics, biophysics, condensed matter physics, fluids and plasma physics (including surface physics), high energy physics, nano materials, nuclear physics, optics, pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistical physics.

Hlavní podmínkou přihlášky je max. 8 let od udělení Ph.D. titulu a mobilitní pravidlo MSCA – kandidáti v posledních 36 měsících před deadlinem přihlášky nesmí pobývat v ČR více než 12 měsíců.

Secondment může být uskutečněn na MFF UK.

Dear colleagues,

we would like to inform you about a new opportunity for postdoctoral researchers in the frame of the second call of the project Physics for Future<https://p4f.fzu.cz/for-candidates/#key-steps> (P4F).

P4F, co-funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND<https://marie-sklodowska-curie-actions.ec.europa.eu/actions/cofund> and coordinated by the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences<https://www.fzu.cz/en/home> (FZU), is a postdoctoral fellowship programme designed to enable researchers to conduct their own bottom-up research projects over a span of two years in the Czech Republic, within the facilities of FZU or ELI Beamlines<https://www.eli-beams.eu/>. P4F also provides an opportunity for an integrated blend of advanced scientific, transferable, and soft-skill training. The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University is one of the project partners.

In the second call, opening on 1 August 2025 and with the deadline on 10 October 2025, P4F aims to recruit 30 exceptional researchers for 2-year-long fellowships.

P4F's scientific scope encompasses the following domains: astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology; atomic, molecular and chemical physics, biophysics, condensed matter physics, fluids and plasma physics (including surface physics), high energy physics, nano materials, nuclear physics, optics, pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistical physics.

Main conditions for the application are max. 8 years since obtaining Ph.D. title and the MSCA mobility rule – applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the Czech Republic for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the deadline of the call.

The secondment/s can be carried out at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University.
