[OGAP-l] ERC Workshopy v roce 2024 - změny a přihláška / ERC Workshops 2024 - changes and registration

Vážení kolegové,

rádi bychom Vás informovali o změnách v organizaci přípravných ERC workshopů nabízených Technologickým centrem Praha ve spolupráci s Expertní skupinou na podporu žadatelů ve výzvách ERC. Workshopy se stávající ze tří částí - proběhnou v květnu, červnu a září 2024 v anglickém jazyce a jsou určeny pro uchazeče o ERC granty v příslušném roce.

Nově budou workshopy nabízeny jen uchazečům o ERC Starting a ERC Consolidator Granty, popř. zájemcům o ERC Synergy Grant na této úrovni kariéry.

Další změnou je, že místa ve workshopech budou přidělována nikoli na základě výběrového řízení jako dosud, ale podle pořadí přihlášek - dříve přihlášení s odpovídajícími podklady tak budou mít přednost.

Přihlášky budou otevřeny 11. 3. 2024 ve 12:00 (poledne) a uzavřeny 14. 4. 2024. Z obou úrovní bude pro účast ve Workshopech vybráno 17 účastníků a 7 náhradníků.

V případě zájmu o účast si prosím přečtěte níže přiložený email z Rektorátu a prostudujte si přílohu, která obsahuje podrobnosti k přihláškám a dataci jednotlivých workshopů. Do 11. 3. 2024 si potom připravte požadované podklady, tak abyste měli maximální možnou šanci místa ve Workshopech získat.

Konkrétní termíny pro podání žádostí o granty ERC v roce 2024 zatím nebyly zveřejněny. Až se tak stane, budeme Vás informovat.

Zájemce o podání žádosti o ERC granty si průběžně zařazujeme do fakultní pipeline. Pokud již víte, že se v roce 2024 budete chtít o grant ERC ucházet a zatím jste nás neinformovali, můžete nás informovat nyní emailem (kontaktní osoba na OGAP: Ivana Herglová; pipeline Informatické sekce: Eva Šauerová). Blíže k termínu registrace pro ERC workshopy Vás požádáme také o vyplnění fakultního registračního dotazníku, abychom měli přehled, kdo se bude ucházet o místa ve workshopech.

Dear colleagues,

we would like to inform you about the changes in the organisation of preparatory ERC workshops offered by the Technology Centre Prague in cooperation with the Expert Group for Supporting Applicants in ERC calls. The workshops have 3 parts and will take place in May, June and September 2024. They are organised in English and are intended for applicants for ERC grants in the respective year.

The workshops will newly only be offered to applicants for ERC Starting and ERC Consolidator Grants, or to those interested in ERC Synergy Grant at this career level.

Another change is that places in the workshops will not be allocated on the basis of a selection process as before, but according to the order of applications - earlier applications completed with appropriate documents will therefore have priority ("first come, first served basis").

Registration will be opened on March 11, 2024 at 12:00 (noon) and closed on April 14, 2024. 17 participants and 7 substitutes will be selected from both levels to participate in the workshops.

If you are interested in participating, please, read the email from the Rectorate below and the attachment, which contains details on the application procedure and the dates of individual workshops. Then prepare the required documents before March 11, 2024, so that you have the maximum possible chance of getting a place in the workshops.

The calendar of the ERC calls in 2024 has not yet been published. Once this has happened, we will inform you.

Our office continuously includes those interested in applying for ERC grants in the faculty pipeline. If you already know that you would like to apply for an ERC grant in 2024 and you have not yet informed us, you can do so now by email (contact person at the Department of Grants and Projects, OGAP: Ivana Herglová; pipeline of the School of Computer Science: Eva Šauerová). Closer to the registration deadline for the ERC workshops, we will also ask you to fill in the faculty registration questionnaire so that we have an overview of who will be applying for places in the workshops.

Dear colleagues,

we would like to inform you about Workshops for ERC applicants in the calendar year 2024. Workshops will undergo several changes this year that we wish to make you aware of in advance.

The main changes will be in the admission process:

  *   only ERC Starting and ERC Consolidator grant applicants will be eligible
  *   the admission will be based on a "first come, first served" basis

As in previous years, to participate, applicants will be required to fill in an online registration form and send by e-mail the project title and abstract as well as the applicant's CV and track record in the form and length according to the ERC Work Programme 2024. Registration will open on 11 March 2024 at 12:00 (noon). The final deadline for registration and sending supporting documentation will be on 14 April 2024.
