Vážení kolegové,

Velvyslanectví USA v České republice nabízí možnost podpory v rámci Programu malých grantů.

Z programu lze financovat vzdělávací nebo jiné kooperativní aktivity, ale nikoli vědecký výzkum.

V naší oblasti může jít např. o:

  *   Academic or professional lectures, seminars, workshops, discussions and speaker programs by U.S. experts and/or about the United States.
  *   Professional and academic exchanges and programs to the United States.

Granty musí podporovat alespoň jednu prioritní oblast. MFF se nejvíce týká tato:
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND STEM EDUCATION - Programs related to climate change, environmental protection, scientific cooperation and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, including programs that promote critical thinking skills.


Uzávěrky žádostí o podporu v roce 2024 jsou následující: 15. 1. 2024; 19. 3. 2024; 14. 5. 2024.



Žádat lze o granty ve výši 5 000 - 24 000 USD. Granty jsou na 12-24 měsíců, preferováno je 12timěsíční období. Prioritu mají žádosti s programovým komponentem mimo Prahu. Žádost je třeba podat min. 3 měsíce před plánovaným počátkem projektu. Předpokládá se podpoření až 60 žádostí.

Dear colleagues,



The U.S. Embassy in the Czech Republic offers support under the Small Grants Program.



The program can fund educational or other cooperative activities, but not scientific research.

In our area, the funding can be, for example, used for:

- Academic or professional lectures, seminars, workshops, discussions and speaker programs by U.S. experts and/or about the United States.

- Professional and academic exchanges and programs to the United States.

Grants must support at least one priority area. At our faculty would apply primary the following priority:

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND STEM EDUCATION - Programs related to climate change, environmental protection, scientific cooperation and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, including programs that promote critical thinking skills.



The deadlines for applications for support in 2024 are as follows: 15 January 2024; 19 March 2024; 14 May 2024.



Grants of $5,000 - $24,000 can be applied for. Grants are for 12-24 months, a 12-month period is preferred. Priority is given to applications with a program component outside of Prague. The application must be submitted min. 3 months before the planned start of the project. Up to 60 applications are expected to be supported.
