[OGAP-l] 7th call of the PRIMUS Research Programme - English version

Dear colleagues,

Charles University offers a unique opportunity to start a new scientific 
group or laboratory with the support of the *PRIMUS Research Programme.* 
In the beginning of March 2022 a new, already *7th Call of the 
competition PRIMUS* has been launched.

The *PRIMUS Research programme* aims to support researchers, increasing 
the dynamics of scientific work, including the mobility of employees, 
and the development of young scientists. The programme should later on 
lead to a submission of an ERC grant application by the principal 
investigator.

Those *applicants, who do not have a regular access to the Information 
Systems of Charles University *can request *a special access to the

**Applicants from outside CU can register in the system from March 1, 
2022 to April 8, 2022 only!***

Aside of the above given application rules as given by the Rectorate, we 
would like to ask you to *send the proposal downloaded from the 
application system before its finalisation to the appropriate Head of 
the Department and the Section Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Mathematics 
and Physics *(their agreement is necessary because of the co-financing 
of the projects by the faculty).

Conditions of the 7th round of the competition:*

Principal investigator (PI)
	Applicant with finished Ph.D. studies

(not more than 8 years after the end of the Ph.D. studies)
Other team members
	Academic, Scientific, Research, Technical and other Specialised Personnel;

Students of MA or Ph.D. degrees;

The latest up until December 31 of the year following the year when the 
project proposal was submitted the project team must include aside of 
the PI min. 3 students of Ph.D. studies or postdocs.
Funding
	Charles University will support the project with the same funding 
amount as the faculty. The support by the university will be *max. 1,5 
million CZK per annum per 1 project.*
Opening of the 7th round of the competition
	March 1, 2022
End of registration of applicants from outside Charles University
	April 8, 2022
Internal deadline for control of the project proposals set by the 
Faculty of Mathematics and Physics
	*April 12, 2022*

The applicants are to inform the Department of Grants and Projects about 
their plan to submit a Primus project proposal and send the application
